Allison & Karl
When getting married abroad, we found that our wedding planner was pretty much indispensable – she knew the local area, the good venues, who the good caterers are, etc. Basically it meant that we only had to visit the South of France once before the wedding (to choose all the suppliers from planner’s suggestions; she booked us two days of solid appointments – in one long weekend – we chose the venue, the caterer, the photographer, the videographer, the DJ, the florist).
I can highly highly recommend Chloé from Aava Communication. It’s not that she’s just very good at what does, but she has amazing suppliers (the best on the Côte I would say) – and that was what made us so happy with her – she understood our need for a high quality, elegant wedding, and delivered (many French weddings are what we would term a little tacky! – so many French wedding planners might suggest things that seem tacky to us).
I realise I’ve banged on a bit about Aava, but that is because I can honestly say I do not think you will find a better wedding planner in France – she doesn’t even work like the French (if you’ve spent any time in France you’ll know what I mean) – I found that the level of service and responsiveness she offered was more like working with a British or American company.
